Virtual sessions are available to anyone physically located in the states of Washington and California. Before we get started, I will assess with you whether virtual therapy is an appropriate form of treatment for you, and whether I am the right person to guide you through your journey. This is a two-way decision, where you also get to notice how comfortable you feel talking with me and ask any questions you have about me or the way that I work.  

Just like in-person therapy, with virtual therapy, you will get out what you put in. So, although virtual therapy makes scheduling sessions much more convenient, I encourage you to set aside some time before or after your session to settle in to the deep work that you are doing. Taking some time to journal, walk, or just breathe seems to help.  If we work together, we will start out by meeting weekly, at the same time each week, especially at the start of treatment. I find that this regularity and consistency gives us powerful momentum for the issues that are bringing you to therapy.
